Ross Collins, CFA is a Managing Director in Alpha’s Chicago office. Ross joined the firm in early 2021 and leads several of Alpha’s client teams across various key industries. He brings extensive experience crafting corporate messaging, evaluating corporate strategy, and leading client engagements. Ross’s investor relations work has focused on creating comprehensive IR programs, preparing crisis plans, and providing counsel to newly public companies. Prior to joining Alpha, he spent 17 years on the buy-side, conducting thousands of management meetings, attending hundreds of investor days, and participating in many IPO and secondary offerings on behalf of the portfolios he managed. Prior to his Wall Street roles, Ross worked as a financial consultant for PwC, helping clients value their business enterprises and assets. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining from the Colorado School of Mines. Ross also earned his MBA, with concentration in analytical finance, accounting and strategy, from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He is also a CFA Charterholder, and an active member of both the National CFA Institute and the Chicago CFA Society.
