Investor Relations Positions (Entry Level)

WHAT WE OFFER:

We welcome interest in future opportunities for our Financial Analyst and/or Senior Analyst positions if you have a desire to break into Wall Street and 1-5 years of applicable work experience within financial services, portfolio management, corporate finance or related consulting. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Financial Analysts: 

  • Monitor daily news and stock movements of our clients, their industry, and peers. 
  • Perform periodic market research around key issues and topics that are impacting our publicly traded clients. 
  • Draft and edit client materials including investor-facing news releases, financial presentations, memos, and factsheets. 
  • Create and drive quarterly deliverables and analyses for our clients using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 
  • Perform regular analysis of client’s shareholder base and shareholder targeting strategies. 
  • Monitor sell-side research and develop targeting strategies for additional sell-side coverage. 
  • Help with administrative tasks including coordination of press release distribution, earnings calls, and website updates. 
  • Assist in responding to ad hoc client and investor inquiries. 
  • Spend 10-20% of your time on the phone communicating to portfolio managers and analysts on Wall Street as “the eyes and ears on the Street” for our clients. 
  • Compose client materials including memos and executive summaries for companies facing strategic decisions. 

Senior Analysts/Associates:

  • Act as primary day-to-day Alpha contact for all assigned clients.
  • Drive all strategic positioning strategies, materials and messaging for a basket of 6-8 publicly traded clients, ensuring quality, presentation and message resonance to Wall Street.
  • Develop the strategic plan for clients’ overall investor relations programs under the direction of senior team members.
  • Communicate with clients and internally manage a three-person team to service our client’s needs.
  • Create earnings and investor presentations for clients.
  • Lead introductory calls with prospective investors before engaging Management.
  • Liaise with portfolio managers and provide feedback to our clients on Wall Street perceptions.
  • Compose white paper research and editing on various market topics for client education and business development.
  • Participate and contribute to sales pitches and broader marketing efforts.
  • Be consistently proactive on accounts with new ideas.
  • Be a career manager, and ensure that your team is tracking clients appropriately, hitting deadlines, consistently learning and growing, etc.
