An innovative, privately held technology company preparing for its first Regulation A (Reg A) capital raise partnered with Alpha to support its transition into the broader investment landscape. With ambitions to expand its growth equity round beyond existing venture and private equity backers, the company needed high-impact investor materials and a strategic outreach plan to engage new audiences. Having had limited exposure to institutional investors, Alpha was tasked to craft a compelling growth-to-profitability narrative, one that highlighted the company’s differentiated business model, improving financial performance, and targeted use of proceeds for continued expansion.
Alpha’s Solution:
- One month prior to the launch of its Reg A capital raise, the Alpha team was brought on to support the internal marketing and executive leadership teams at the company.
- Materials development efforts focused on refining key investor messaging and completely revamping the existing investor presentation. In particular, Alpha helped position the company as a fast-growing, category-defining platform that’s reshaping its market.
- Additionally, our team was also responsible for managing the client’s third-party capital raise platform, including end-to-end coordination of investor onboarding, documentation, and back-end transaction processing.
- From an IR perspective, Alpha advocated for the inclusion of forward-looking financial projections, enabling investors to model the opportunity and guided management in the development of a formal, institutional-quality investor update framework similar to a public company earnings call.
Results:
- Alpha delivered two investor presentations: one designed for the company’s public website and prospective investors, and another formatted as an institutional-quality earnings update. The Alpha team also helped craft the company’s investment landing page.
- Alpha’s efforts ultimately enabled the company to raise considerable capital, fueling continued execution of its growth strategy and position for a future IPO.
