As a growing organization, we welcome interest in future opportunities for entry level Account Executive (AE) and/or Senior Account Executive (SAE) positions on our CorpComm team. Please have 1-5 years of relevant agency experience and be prepared to provide account coordination and support strategic communications and corporate reputation initiatives for our clients.
Account Executive (AE):
- Support client teams, in close collaboration with team members, team leader, and clients, providing high quality work for our clients, assisting with project management, using strong organizational and verbal/written/presentation communication skills
- Showing up to work each day with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, attentive listening skills, high attention to detail, and strong work ethic
- Manage project details and deadlines, communicating consistently to clients and teams the status of projects and items
- Conduct thorough research on conversation themes, conversation drivers, and conversation influencers for brand, company, executive leaders, competitors, sector, or key issues for clients, along with reporting analysis and implications for clients and their business, including key takeaways immediately relevant for clients
- Support client teams by attending meetings, helping with follow-up scheduling and logistics, note-taking, and next steps and action items for clients
- Daily operation and management of the firm’s media, data, and analytics tools to develop media lists, understand media and social media conversation landscape, and provide metrics and measurement dashboard to clients that demonstrate how our work is driving our clients’ business goals
- Produce quality strategic communications and public engagement content for clients
- Participate in and contribute to client and agency planning activities
- Build, nurture, and foster client relationships
- Contribute to business development efforts for the agency, including research, proposal development, and pitching new business
- Support the operations, project management, budget management, and adherence to work quality of each account to which the AE is assigned
- Become proficient in AAG’s capabilities and intellectual property and contribute to ideas on how to improve capabilities, offerings, and thought leadership.
Senior Account Executive (SAE):
- Demonstrate understanding of key client information, including general business strategy, industry trends and issues, products/ services, key opinion leaders, customers and competitors
- Demonstrate the ability to write, edit and proofread to create high quality internal and external written materials (media pitches, press releases, thought leadership content, talking points, Q&As, etc.)
- Contribute to creation of communications plans to meet client objectives
- Manage multiple projects for multiple clients from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
- Contribute to client correspondence (i.e., daily updates, activity reports, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of the differences in writing styles depending on the outlet, channel and audience (online, social network, traditional media, etc.)
- Demonstrate research abilities to support client programs
- Coordinate and help plan media outreach programs including tours, events, conferences, VNR/B-roll, interviews and new media outreach
- Demonstrate an understanding of research techniques to assist with various AAG consulting processes, including analysis of media coverage and online conversation (volume and tone), and identification and categorization of various stakeholders, including organizations and individuals to be engaged by clients
- Communicate effectively with team members
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA or equivalent preferred for more experienced roles
- Outstanding critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Desire to provide top-notch client service
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience using Cision, MuckRack, and other critical technologies/tools
